About B.ed College
Vasant College of education is student at Urun-Islampur in the walwa taluka of the sangli distric in southern Maharashtra. It was founded in June 1985 by Late. Shri. S.D.Patil (Ex.M.P) an educational & social reference in pursuit of “Bahujan Hitay Bahujan Sukhay” The College has been reading valuables serive in the field of education for good teacher training courses our college also give service in sport cultural activities since 1985.
The college was affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur Sou the la of establishment dure college provides education in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). The total strength of the college in 2015-16 B.Ed course intake 50 students course First Year 50 students & second year 50 student the success rate of these courses is comparatively.
The Camps area of the college is 7 acres the building of college is accrediting too NCTE names There Is two teaching Hall, two method rooms, two staff rooms, office, library, reading room, IT room, hostel, multi purpose hall.

Walwa Shikshan santhas was Funded by Late.Shri.S.D.Patil and his co-workers for the educational uplift and welfare of the society. Late. Shri. S.D.Patil was very active in the the social activities in the sounthen Maharashtra. He lived elected as a M.L.A,M.P. and president of Zilla Perished from Sangli district. He speond his whole life for the educationally activities and social reforms He dedicated his life for poor and need persona from commity. He believed that educational can improve the life of tat common and backward class in rural Maharashtra so that founded walwa shikshan santhas in 1945 and started different institution like technical course B.Ed./D.Ed., Senior college etc. Today, the management runs 25 instntions in all over Maharashtra under the walwa guidance of Hon. Adv. B.S.Patil, Honorary Secreeary and Adv. Dhariryashil Patil, Join Secretary of walwa shikshan Santha.
